Australia’s Mat Belcher and Will Ryan are two leading lights in 470 sailing and confirmed their status by taking silver at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games in August.

At the Sailing World Cup Final being held out of the St Kilda Sailing Precinct in Melbourne, Australia, they are favourites to add the honours to their repertoire of success stories.

On the opening day of competition Belcher and Ryan finished first and second from two races and lead the fleet at the early stages.
