The St Kilda Sailing Precinct in Melbourne, Australia was full of eager sailors on the morning of Tuesday 6 December with the Sailing World Cup Final presented by Land Rover set for lift off.

More than 200 competitors from 31 nations will race across the ten Olympic and Open Kiteboarding fleets as they look to end the year on a high and claim their share of the $200,000 AUD prize fund.
 
A south western breeze will be present throughout the opening day of racing, coming in at 10 knots with gusts of 15.
