World Sailing love wearing Zhik at Rio 2016
Rio 2016 has thrown all kinds of weather at the Olympic sailing competition, from hot and humid days to chilly and rainy ones. So the people working at World Sailing have been grateful for the technical apparel supplied by clothing partner Zhik.Â
Rio 2016 has thrown all kinds of weather at the Olympic sailing competition, from hot and humid days to chilly and rainy ones. So the people working at World Sailing have been grateful for the technical apparel supplied by clothing partner Zhik.
World Sailing CEO, Andy Hunt said, “The weather really has given us a bit of everything so far at Rio 2016. Everyone is working long days here to deliver the best possible sailing event, and you can only do that when you have the right clothing for the right occasion. With the excellent range of apparel that Zhik have provided for us in Brazil, we’re always comfortable.”
Founded in 2004, Zhik bring an innovative approach to the sailing market and continue to develop and evolve their range for on the water and around the dock, combining performance with style.
The five-year sponsorship agreement between Zhik and World Sailing will run until the end of 2020 and will see both partners work collaboratively to further develop and market the sport in new and existing territories. Later this year World Sailing will launch a retail range of branded Zhik clothing which will be available for purchase at all of World Sailing’s events and online.
