It’s going to be a day of building at Sailing World Cup Hyères. Building up scores to take into the penultimate day, building up confidence ahead of the Medal Race and a building breeze.

Hyères was bathed in sunshine on Friday morning but there was barely a flicker of breeze as sailors made their way to their boats via bike, scooter, foot and car.

The breeze will build as the day progresses and the light and variable morning breeze will turn into a moderate south easterly that will veer to the south west and then ease. Smooth seas are expected with temperatures reaching 19 degrees.

The 49erFX, Nacra 17 and Paralympic events will continue to catch up on their missed races on Friday but the rest of the fleets are on schedule. Two days of fleet racing remain and for sailors it is critical for them to build on their scores from the first two days of racing.

Women’s RSX Alpha 3 11:10
