Australian Olympic Sailors Take the Gun Throughout

The Sail Down Under Series kicked off in Brisbane last week with the Royal Queensland Yacht Squadron hosting the 2003 Sail Brisbane Regatta.

There were athletes from 5 countries competing in 9 classes. Of the Olympic classes held at Sail Brisbane, Australians won all – the 470, Laser, Europe & Finn. Among the winners were Nathan Wilmot (AIS/NSWIS) & Malcolm Page (AIS/NSWIS) (Men’s 470), Jenny Armstrong (AIS/NSWIS) & Belinda Stowell (AIS/WAIS) (Women’s 470), Brendan Casey (Laser) and Sarah Blanck (AIS/VIS) (Europe).
