Equipment
The inaugural World Sailing Inclusion Championships will feature four pieces of equipment:
- RS Venture Connect – two-person keelboat (with SCS), open to both Para-classified and Inclusive category teams.
- Hansa 303 (Single) – open to all sailors regardless of classification.
- ILCA 6 – for athletes with intellectual impairments (Virtus, Special Olympics, or World Sailing II classification required).
- FarEast 28R– blind fleet racing, open to B1, B2 and B3 Visually Impaired-classified sailors.
RS Venture Connect
Para Inclusive Fleet Racing
SUPPLIED EQUIPMENT
- Para category requires Para Classification for both sailors of at least MIC (minimum impairment criteria).
- Inclusive category requires self-certification of an illness, condition or disability that affects daily life.
Hansa 303
Para Inclusive Fleet Racing in single format
SUPPLIED EQUIPMENT
- Open to all.
ILCA 6
Intellectual Impairment Fleet Racing
SUPPLIED EQUIPMENT
- II category will require a Special Olympics, Virtus, or World Sailing Para II Classification status.
FarEast 28R
Blind Fleet Racing (League Format)
SUPPLIED EQUIPMENT
- Open to all VI Classified sailors B1, B2 and B3.
- Racing will include a sighted tactician and a sighted crew in teams of four.
