I am an experienced sailor and have sailed my whole life. Had my own boat at the age of 8 a Minnow. At the age of 13 started sailing 125s, a two person boat where I was the skipper. At the same time I was a crew member on a Corsair. Where we went on to win the Victorian state titles. By the time I was old enough to drive, I was racing Hobie catamarans and sailing windsurfers. Owned a Sonata 8 keelboat for several years.
I have sailed over 7,500 nautical miles and raced in such events as the Sydney to Hobart. During the last S2H I was navigator and 2IC. I have also had the opportunity of racing in the Whitsundays. Airlie Beach race week and Magnetic Island race week.
Delivering and returning boats up and down the east coast. Circumnavigated Tasmania, raced in five category 2 ocean races and sailed and raced over 25 keelbouts in the last 3 years.
Have all my own safety equipment.
