Biography

Began racing in Chester and Halifax Nova Scotia, Canada early 1970’s on Soling’s w/ Andreas Josenhans and Sandy MacMillan who would later go on to win World Championship titles in 1977 and 1980 along with and Glen Dexter. Later raced dingy's, a Kirby 30, Won Chester Race Week x 3times & Polaris Trophy, Tarten 10, & Beneteau First 435. Campaigned, Terry McLaughlin’s Los Angeles 1984 Silver medal winning Flying Dutchman. Raced in New England and CORK. Crewed for 1992 Etchell Worlds Silver medalists, Erik Koppernaes and Larry Creaser, regatta, San Francisco Bay. Owned many sailboats over the years mostly in Southern California. Coastal cruised USA (both coasts) Mexico, Colombia, Ireland, Canada. Future cruising: The eastern Mediterranean Greek Islands through Istanbul and up the Black Sea. Caribbean out of English Bay, Antigua. And South Pacific Fiji, Tahiti and onto New Zealand.
