Terms and Conditions

  1. This competition is open to residents worldwide aged 18 years or over, except for employees of World Sailing.
  2. All information detailing how to enter this competition forms part of these terms and conditions. It is a condition of entry that all rules are accepted as final and that the competitor agrees to abide by these rules. The decision of the judges is final and no correspondence will be entered into. Submission of an entry will be taken to mean acceptance of these terms and conditions.
  3. Entries should be submitted via World Sailing’s Instagram [@worldsailingofficial] or Facebook [@WorldSailing] by commenting on the giveaway competition post. We regret that we are unable to accept postal entries.
  4. All entries must be received by the advertised closing time and date. The closing date is 11:59 UTC on 11th March.
  5. Subject to prior written consent, photos of giveaway winners may be shared by World Sailing and its commercial partners for use in promotional materials, website and/or publications.
  6. Only one entry per person. Late, illegible, incomplete, defaced or corrupt entries will not be accepted. No responsibility can be accepted for lost entries and proof of transmission will not be accepted as proof of receipt. Entries must not be sent through agencies or third parties.
  7. The winning entries will be randomly selected by a third party social media comment picker. The winner will be notified within 14 days of the closing date of the competition.
  8. The winner of the competition will win a Musto Women’s FlexLite Dynamic Steamer. The prizes are subject to size and stock availability, the exact item(s) are at the sole discretion of World Sailing.
  9. Once notified, winners must provide their required clothing size, contact details and delivery details. Failure to do so within 5 days of the closing date will result in a new winner being drawn.
  10. The prizes as described are those available on the date of publication of these terms. All prizes are non-transferable and there are no cash alternatives.
  11. Events may occur that render the competition itself or the awarding of the prizes impossible due to reasons beyond the control of the Promoter and accordingly the Promoter may at its absolute discretion vary or amend the promotion and the entrant agrees that no liability shall attach to the Promoter as a result thereof.
  12. Personal data and in particular email addresses will be processed in accordance with World Sailing Data Protection policy and for the avoidance of doubt no data will be shared without express consent of the entrants and images will only be used in accordance with these terms and conditions.
  13. English law applies and the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts shall prevail.
