Development Symposium

Overview

The World Sailing Development Symposium is an annual gathering open to all Member National Authorities (MNAs). This three-day event provides a crucial platform for the global sailing community to discuss training and development topics and initiatives. Focusing on four key themes – Learning, Sharing, Networking, and Planning – the Symposium features a diverse program of talks, interactive forums, and discussions covering all aspects of the sport.

This Symposium directly complements the work of the Development and Regions Committee. By bringing together delegates from around the world, including those from New and Emerging Nations, it provides a valuable opportunity for MNAs to share their perspectives, contribute to the ongoing development of the sport, and ensure that the needs and priorities of the global sailing community are effectively addressed.
