Day 6 of the Long Beach Olympic Classes Regatta ramps up the pressure

While Friday's theme was Super Death Reaching and survival, Saturday was a 10... stay in the pressure!

Sweden’s FX team of Vilma Bobeck and Ebba Berntsson burned up the course again today, maintaining their lead, but racing was tight with bullets for USA’s Paris Henken & Helena Scott and Canada’s Georgia and Antonia Lewin-LaFrance. And the FX Mixed team of young guns, Will Stratton and Matei Meglic from USA took advantage of the course and port tacked the fleet 3 out of 6 races.

On the 49er course in first place and now wearing the Gold is Austria’s Keanu Prettner and Jakob Flachberger narrowly leading USA Nevin Snow and Ian Macdiarmid who will exchange their Gold bibs for Silver.

Austria’s Nacra 17 teams exchanged places today, still having “Super Death Reaching” courses, screaming across the finish line. GBR keeps their Gold bib tomorrow.

The iQFOil’s had slalom courses today almost a mile in distance and wind @ 12kts.
