Gdynia ready to crown 2025 eSailing World Champion

This Sunday, 20 July, will see a new eSailing World Champion as 12 of the world’s best compete in Gdynia, Poland, at the live final, organised in partnership between World Sailing, Virtual Regatta and the Polish Yachting Association.

After a long season of qualifiers and knockout rounds, the stage is set and everyone will be looking to rise to the occasion and claim the title, plus a share of the $10,000 USD prize pot.

The championship will feature a series of eight fleet races using J70, ILCA, 49er, Nacra 17, FarEast 28R, Star, Offshore Racer and F50 boats, after which the two lowest placed competitors will be eliminated.
The remaining 10 sailors will then advance to a final in a double points medal race to decide the 2025 eSailing World Champion.

The live final will be streamed on the World Sailing YouTube Channel and the Virtual Regatta YouTube and Twitch channels, as well as the Polish Yachting Association YouTube Channel from 1300 UTC Sunday 20 July.
