World Sailing invites eligible suppliers to submit windsurfing equipment tender for Dakar 2026 Summer Youth Olympic Games
World Sailing is now inviting World Sailing Classes, non-foiling windsurfing equipment manufacturers or suppliers to provide equipment and additional support for the upcoming Dakar 2026 Summer Youth Olympic Games, to be held in Senegal from 31 October to 13 November 2026.
The International Olympic Committee (IOC) has awarded sailing two events in the sport program for the Games – Men’s and Women’s Windsurfing – each with a confirmed quota of 24 athletes, aged 14-16 years old at the time of the competition
Supplied equipment will also assist the growth of windsurfing in Senegal and across Africa with the aim of supporting 14 athletes during qualification for the Youth Olympic Games and throughout the competition.
World Sailing also requests that bidders provide support for training and coaching programs for sailors, coaches and race officials as part of a long-term commitment to developing the sport in Africa.

Interested parties must inform the World Sailing Executive Office by 23:59 UTC on 5 March 2025 of their intent to bid. All bids must be received by 23:59 UTC on 24 March 2025. All bids received will be treated as confidential.
