World Sailing and EUROSAF are hosting a virtual Inspirational Women in Sailing panel on Wednesday 26 May at 17:00 CET, as part of Steering the Course, our global women’s sailing festival.
Free to attend, this event will offer those interested the opportunity to listen to the discussion and contribute with questions and comments.
Several high-profile female figures in the sport of sailing – including former athletes, race officials, and MNA representatives – will be taking part in the panel.

The panellists will be discussing a range of topics, such as how they got into sailing, their experience so far, advice for aspiring young people in the sport, and their thoughts on how to grow female participation.
The event will be held using videoconferencing programme BlueJeans. The panellists will speak in front of a virtual audience of registered attendees, who will be able to ask questions and contribute to the overall discussion.
