Day #2 Morning Report - How to Follow World Cup Series, Round 1 - Enoshima

Early contenders emerged after an intriguing opening day of competition at World Cup Series Enoshima in Japan.

The venue will host the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Sailing Competition in just under two years’ time and the competitors are using the event to develop their knowledge of the field of play.
 
Sagami Bay, the area that hosts all six racing areas, will be covered in cloud cover throughout the day with some light rain towards the latter part of the day.
 
There is no change in the wind direction from the day prior with a north east breeze. It will start off between 12-17 knots before decreasing to 10-14 knots which is slightly lighter than Tuesday. The offshore racing areas will be more stable than those closer to shore.
 
Waves will be around one-metre with a 10-13 second swell.
