Day #1 Morning Report - How to Follow the 2018 Marseille World Cup Series Final

Numerous Olympic medallists, World Champions, and World Cup Series stars make up the 212 sailors, from 34 nations, competing on day #1 of the 2018 World Cup Series Final in Marseille, France.

Numerous Olympic medallists, World Champions, and World Cup Series stars make up the 212 sailors, from 34 nations, competing on day #1 of the 2018 World Cup Series Final in Marseille, France.

For most, this will be their last big competition before the significant Hempel Sailing World Championships Aarhus 2018 this August, which is the first Tokyo 2020 Olympic games qualifier.

Day one of the Marseille Final will start off sunny, in the morning and early afternoon, then cloud cover will gather in the latter part of the day, with temperatures reaching a maximum of 25°C. 

Today will consist of light to moderate wind speeds, ranging from 10-14 knots in the afternoon. The wind direction will travel further south and wind speeds are expected to ease to 9 – 11 knots in the late afternoon.
