Over 670 sailors, from 46 nations, competing in Round three of Sailing’s World Cup Series Hyères France, will face light winds on the opening day of competition.

Hyères is known for its high wind speeds and choppy waves but this time returning sailors will face a change of conditions. Light winds will come in from the northeast and move further south throughout the day. Wind speeds are expected to reach a maximum of 10 knots and some morning delays are expected as the Race Management team wait for the wind to fill in, meaning it’s going to be a slow start to the competition for many.

As expected, there will be clear skies and plenty of sunshine throughout the day with temperatures reaching 19 °C.
