Invitations for New Nordic Para Sailing Championships now open

The Royal Swedish Yacht Club and Skota Hem, alongside the Swedish Sailing Federation, invite Nordic and Baltic sailors to participate in the first Para Nordic Sailing Championships in Saltsjöbaden, Sweden, from 8-10 September 2017.

The new three day event will feature three Classes, the 2.4MR, Hansa 303 and WETA boats.
 
Sailors participating at the event will receive training, as well as insightful lectures from a skilled coach, with the ambition to make the event fun and educational. Races will be held on 9 and 10 September 2017 (Saturday and Sunday).
 
The aim of the regatta is to provide a regional championship as a first step in international racing for sailors, to grow sailing and make it a Paralympic sport again.

In addition, it will also strengthen the cooperation among group Member National Authorities (MNAs), in disabled sailing.
