It’s a sunny, hot and humid day two for the Sailing World Cup Qingdao as the sailors prepare for another light wind day.

Conditions out on the water are of the usual Qingdao standard with light winds of around 8-10 knots coming in from the south, gusting to only a little more at around 12 knots. The current caught a few newcomers out on day one so lessons learned from the first races will need to be put in to practice as yet again the current is strong.

The second day of racing always offers a little shake up in the standings as the discard comes in to play and today is no different as this is the case for the majority of the seven fleets.
