What a difference a day makes - Thursday - How to follow Sailing World Cup Weymouth and Portland

Upon first glance out of the window this morning, Wednesday's sunshine and light breeze had been replaced with grey skies and big winds. What a difference a day makes.

Upon first glance out of the window this morning, Wednesday’s sunshine and light breeze had been replaced with grey skies and big winds. What a difference a day makes.

Only one race across all ten Olympic fleets was sailed on the opening day so Thursday’s schedule is packed as the Race Committees look to catch up on races lost.

As of 08:30, the wind was coming in at 19 knots from the east and is expected to slowly decrease as the day progresses. Whilst the breeze is suitable, the visibility is poor so that may delay racing.

Further information on how to follow the day ahead is below.
