Top ranked sailors to start in leader bibs

The highest ranked sailors competing at Sailing World Cup Weymouth and Portland have been presented with the yellow, blue and red bibs in advance of the first day of racing on Wednesday.

The highest ranked sailors competing at Sailing World Cup Weymouth and Portland have been presented with the yellow, blue and red bibs in advance of the first day of racing on Wednesday.

Traditionally sailors are handed the leader bibs after the first day of racing but in Weymouth and Portland the sailors at the top of the World Sailing Fleet Racing Rankings received the bibs in advance of the competition.
 
They will wear them on the first day of racing to highlight their long-running, continued good form at Olympic Sailing events.
