Job Vacancy - Royal BVI Yacht Club - Sailing Instructor

The Royal BVI Yacht Club is seeking an enthusiastic and energetic sailing instructor to join the team in Tortola.

The role requires an energetic, self-motivated and well-organized individual with excellent communication and inter-personal skills.  The candidate must be able to work within a team and independently and be able to interact effectively with students, parents, management and volunteers.

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching junior and adult sailing lessons as required by the RBVIYC programme.  Other duties include maintenance of all club boats and equipment, administration of classes and scheduling, organization of sailing camps and regattas / fundraising activities to support the youth sailing programme.

RYA or equivalent instructor, powerboating and first aid qualifications are essential, ideally with a minimum of three years working experience post qualification.  Will be required to work weekends and public holidays. Remuneration will be commensurate with relevant experience and qualifications.
