Notice of Race Released for Women's Match and Blind Match Racing Worlds

The Notice of Race for the 2016 Women's Match Racing World Championship and the Blind Match Racing World Championship has been released.

Both events are set to be held out of the Sheboygan Yacht Club in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, USA from 19 – 25 September 2016.

The Women’s Match Racing World Championship will see 16 teams sail in Elliott 6m type boats, each one bidding to take the title. Defending World Champion Lotte Meldgaard (DEN) will receive an invitation with a further 14 racers invited based on their position on the 18 May Women’s Match Race Rankings release. The final spot will be a wildcard.

The Blind Match Racing World Championship will be contested in Sonars and will sail to match racing rules. The sailors will sail around a course of audio sound buoys, using sound and wind to navigate.
