France’s Damien Seguin ended 2015 undefeated in the one-person keelboat, the 2.4mR, rounding off the year with a pair of victories in December.
The Frenchman claimed his fourth Para World Sailing Championship title in Williamstown, Melbourne, Australia at the start of December in emphatic fashion. Seguin defeated long term rival Heiko Kroeger after a battle that went to and fro across six tough days of racing in winds up to 25 knots. Just a days later Seguin was back in the boat, racing again at Sailing World Cup Melbourne.
Seguin edged out Australian favourite Matt Bugg by just two points at the World Cup to ensure a happy journey back to Europe.
