The International RS:X Class Association invites applications for the position of Media & Marketing Manager

Remuneration:  € 1.000 /month, plus incentives on sponsorships activation
The Role

Reporting directly to the RS:X Class (hereafter ‘Class’) Executive Secretary (COO), the Media & Marketing Manager will be responsible for Class PR, media, promotion and marketing communication, including the commercial partnerships and sponsorships.

Key Responsibilities and Tasks

The successful candidate will:
–       write and/or collect and distribute the Class related media and news to class members, to worldwide sailing community and to public
–       regularly distribute the Class newsletters to class members, to worldwide sailing community and to public
–       develop a new approach and relationships to build a long term commercial partnerships and sponsorships, based on mutual benefits and cross-collaboration
–       develop a fresh and strategic Class PR, media and communications approach
–       oversee and maintain the Class website, and social network platforms
–       work out the Class promotional materials for different events

Skills & Experience Required

The candidate has:
–       ability to build a long term business partnerships and sponsorships
–       relevant and current experience in the sport/leisure industry
–       media and PR management proven experience
–       fluent English in writing and verbal
