International sailors preparing for their journey to Melbourne are currently in full preparation at various regattas overseas, priming themselves for competition in the first leg of the Sailing World Cup, to be hosted on Melbourne's famous and iconic St Kilda foreshore.

International sailors preparing for their journey to Melbourne are currently in full preparation at various regattas overseas, priming themselves for competition in the first leg of the Sailing World Cup, to be hosted on Melbourne’s famous and iconic St Kilda foreshore.
Current world champions and gold medalists, and many of the Australian Sailing Team, will be competing at their best. Sailors from Great Britain, Germany, Italy, USA, Sweden, Ireland and Norway are amongst the 23 countries to be represented at this prestigious sailing event in St Kilda from December 7-13, 2015.
Spectators will be able to enjoy watching the event amongst St Kilda’s vibrant surrounds, organisers are liking it to a carnival atmosphere for the sailing and non-sailing public to be a part of.
With 3 weeks to go, the ISAF Sailing World Cup management are expecting record numbers given the entries already confirmed.
