World #327 Francois Brenac (FRA) has claimed the ISAF Grade 3 February in Antibes Match Racing title by defeating Robin Follin 3-0 in Antibes, France.

World #327 Francois Brenac (FRA) has claimed the ISAF Grade 3 February in Antibes Match Racing title by defeating Robin Follin 3-0 in Antibes, France.

Brenac, a 2002 ISAF World Sailing Games gold medallist and former World #7, used all his experience in a field that featured World #13 Staffan Lindberg (FIN).

He came out of the round robin in second place and faced Mathieu Durand (FRA) in the semi-final, defeating him 3-1. In the other semi-final, round robin victor Follin came up against Philipp Bendon (RSA). With a 3-1 win the final was set for a Follin, Brenac face-off.

Brenac lost out to Follin in the round robin but it was a significant turn of events in the final. Brenac found an edge and took the title with a 3-0 win.

Durand came through in third with a Petit Final victory over Bendon.
