More RS Training Boats Chosen Across Asia

ISAF Connect to Sailing partner RS Sailing have a lot going on in Asia right now, with more of their boats having been chosen by clubs and sailing centres across the region over recent months.

In China the latest centre to choose RS boats is Changzhou Lake who recently took delivery of a fleet of RS Qubas. This news came just before RS won a prestigious award during the Shanghai Boat Show – voted the brand most likely to have an impact on the development of sailing in China over the coming year.

RS have recently appointed Wind Essentials as their new dealer for Singapore, Indonesia and Malaysia. Based in Singapore, their first delivery landed earlier in June and the key RS training boats are now available for test sailing.

In Thailand the Royal Varuna YC added more RS Qubas and RS Visions to their fleet late last year and more Fevas and Qubas have recently been delivered to Japan.

Meanwhile, in the Middle East a wide range of RS boats have just been delivered to a customer in Saudi Arabia, including RS Qubas, Fevas, Visions, Ventures and an RS100 – and Oman Sail have ordered yet another fleet of RS Qubas for a new training base.

“It is great to see our boats being chosen in many parts of Asia,” says RS Managing Director, Martin Wadhams. “In addition to the projects above, we’re also hoping for confirmation from others in Qatar, Pakistan and the UAE. It’s a real endorsement of the boats themselves as well as the high level of service we’re working hard to provide to customers and dealers so that buying RS boats is fast and easy – and parts are quickly available to maintain them in intensive use.”
