Club Nautico Scarlino hosted an ISAF Grade 3 International Match Race from 23-24 February, their second of five ISAF Graded events in 2013.
Club Nautico Scarlino hosted an ISAF Grade 3 International Match Race from 23-24 February, their second of five ISAF Graded events in 2013.
Three of the world’s top 50 Open Ranked Match Racers competed over the weekend in 24 competitive matches. A variation in wind over the weekend from the east and then south in between 10 to 25 knots with gusts up to 30 knots tested the race committee. Eventually the shifting breeze halted racing and Poland’s Krzysztof Rosinski, World #22, took the honours having won all five of his matches.
Croatia’s Tomislav Basic came through in silver with four wins and the final podium spot was taken by Arthur Herreman (FRA).
