Notice Of Race Published For ISAF Sailing World Cup Palma

The Notice of Race for ISAF Sailing World Cup Palma, to be hosted from 30 March to 6 April 2013, has been released.

ISAF Sailing World Cup Palma will mark the start of the European sailing season, and with entry already open the names are filtering through. The Notice of Race is available to view here.

The 2013 edition of ISAF Sailing World Cup Palma will see the venues cut down from four to two. Club Nàutic S’Arenal will host the Finn, Men’s and Women’s 470, 49er and 49erFX. Laser Standard and Radial, Men’s and Women’s RS:X and Nacra 17 will be based at Club Marítimo San Antonio de la Playa.

The invited Paralympic classes, 2.4mR, SKUD18 and Sonar will also be based at Club Nàutic S’Arenal.

For fleet racing in the Olympic classes, the regatta will consist of a five-day opening series (Monday – Friday) and a double-point Medal Race (Saturday). The top 10 finishers in the opening series of each class will advance to the Medal Race. Competitors in the Paralympic classes will have five days of fleet racing (Monday-Friday) and no medal race. Medals will be awarded to the top three boats in each Olympic and Paralympic class on Saturday 6 April.
