Robert Scheidt and Bruno Prada (BRA) reduced Iain Percy and Andrew Simpson’s (GBR) lead to five points after the Brazilians came through in fifth whilst the Brits discarded their 17th place.
With just one race remaining today the fight for the title is heating up.
The days race win went to Hamish Pepper and Jim Turner (NZL) who gave it their all to secure the bullet. They sit in sixth place.
Four qualification places for the London 2012 Olympic Sailing Competition are available at the 2012 Star Worlds following the 11 that were available at the 2011 ISAF Worlds and one British quota place.
The competition is on to qualify and with one race remaining the final four nations will be knows.
