New Website Technical Co-ordinator Joins ISAF Secretariat

Simeon Walter (GBR) has joined the Secretariat of the International Sailing Federation (ISAF) as Website Technical Co-ordinator.

Simeon, who is better known as Sim, is responsible for developing and programming the technical side of our website, database and other online resources. Sim will work with our online provider on many projects including our internal and external database systems, ISAF Sailor, Sailor Classification, Results systems etc.

Sim’s experience has been derived from developing websites and other forms of software applications, both commercially, privately, and while studying Software Engineering at University. This will be the first opportunity for him to assist in the ongoing, long-term development of a large scale commercial system which is essential for both the ISAF staff and our many valued members.

Sim joined the Technical and Offshore Department at the ISAF Secretariat in Southampton in November 2010.
