Canada's Sarah Douglas Aims To Follow The Olympic Trail
Sixteen-year-old Sarah Douglas (CAN) learnt to sail with her older brother Gregory Douglas (CAN) at the Island Yacht Club In Ontario.

Sixteen-year-old Sarah Douglas (CAN) learnt to sail with her older brother Gregory Douglas (CAN) at the Island Yacht Club In Ontario.
Gregory sailed in the Finn class for Canada at the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, and Sarah has ambitions to follow in his footsteps.
She sails with the Royal Canadian Yacht Club in her home city and is coached by Olympian Christopher Cook (CAN), who finished fifth in the Finn class sailing at Beijing 2008.
She had a successful 2009, placing first at the Ontario Laser Radial Championships. She was also awarded the Ontario Sailing Female Junior Sailor of the Year.
Sarah attends Lakefield College School in Peterborough, Ontario (two hours north of Toronto), and enjoys playing field hockey, snowboarding and water sports.
Her most memorable sporting moment was when she won the Optimist Canadian title in Montreal in 2007.
