Annemiek Bekkering and Kaj Bocker of the Netherlands continued their winning ways to stay at the top of the fleet after qualifying has ended. Although posting deeper finishes than their first day, the duo managed to sail well enough to win the qualifying series.
Just three points behind in second place are Alexandra Maloney and Sam Bullock of New Zealand, honing their skills against the large fleet in preparation for the ISAF Youth Worlds next week in Turkey.
Winning the day were current world champions from France, Kevin Fischer and Glenn Gouron who sailed a 2-1-2 moving them to fifth in the qualifying series.
With a large and deeply competitive fleet, 12 of the 18 registered ISAF Youth World 29er teams are making final preparations with 6 of these teams qualifying for the Gold fleet and vying for the European Champion title.
Racing continues tomorrow with the fleet split into gold, silver, bronze and emerald for 3 more days of competition.
