Invitation To The IFDS International Classification Seminar
The IFDS International Classification Seminar on the 2009 IFDS Functional Classification System takes place from 5 - 8 July in conjunction with the IFDS Disabled Sailing World Championship 2010, in Medemblik, Netherlands.

The IFDS International Classification Seminar on the 2009 IFDS Functional Classification System takes place from 5 – 8 July in conjunction with the IFDS Disabled Sailing World Championship 2010, in Medemblik, Netherlands.
The Medical Committee of the International Association for Disabled Sailing (IFDS) would like to invite delegates to participate in an IFDS International Classification Seminar on the 2009 IFDS Functional Classification System (FCS 2009).
The Seminar will take place at the same time and venue as the IFDS Disabled Sailing World Championship 2010 (One-Person, Two-Person, Three-Person Keelboats) Medemblik, Netherlands. Scheduled from 5-8 July 2010 the seminar will consist of theoretical, practical training session and on the water observations.
The objective of the Seminar is to train participants to be qualified to classify sailors at national events. Further information can be found in Part C of the IFDS FCS 2009. Specific reference should be made to Part C1.1. Although the seminar is mainly designed for people with a medical background, such as physician’s or physiotherapists who are willing to become National Classifiers for disabled sailing, participants with an interest in classification are also welcome.
The Seminar will be held in English, so you should provide for your own translation if necessary. The fee for the Seminar will be €100 and payment should be made by credit card only prior to the event.
