ISAF Race Officials Commemorations

The Executive Committee noted the recommendation of the Race Officials Committee and awarded Pete Ives an ISAF Silver Medal as commemoration for his contribution to the sport of sailing in general and the development of race officials in particular.

Pete Ives (USA) was International Umpire and International Judge from 1991 to 2005. He made an outstanding contribution to the development of ISAF Race Officials as Seminar Instructor and through his involvement in the development of Seminar and Clinic material.

The Race Officials Committee felt as appropriate to honour his contribution. The award was made at the recent Congressional Cup in Long Beach, California.
