RS:X Asian and RS:X Youth World Championship Postponed

The RS:X Asian and RS:X Youth World Championship, scheduled to take place in Pattaya, Thailand, have been postponed.

Both events will be rescheduled.

Rory RAMSDEM, Secretary of the International RS:X Class Association, posted the following update for teams:

“We are busy consulting nations who were to take part in the 2008 RS:X Asian Championships and the 2008 RS:X Youth World Championships so that the events can be re-scheduled as quickly as possible.

“In the meantime, Sail Melbourne starting on 16 December has opened a youth division for the RS:X Class boys/girls. We know that the Hong Kong team and others from New Zealand have immediately switched their schedules to this event.
We would like to thank to Sail Melbourne for stepping in to provide some racing for our youth sailors.”
