Stars Line Up For MIMR

Three of the top four skippers in the ISAF World Match Race Rankings will headline the ISAF Grade 1 Marseille International Match Race this March.

From 11-15 March the sixth edition of the Marseille International Match Race, organized by the Yachting club de la Pointe Rouge, will once again be host to an exceptional line-up of skippers.

World #1 Mathieu RICHARD (FRA), world #3 Paolo CIAN (FRA) and world #4 Sébastien COL (FRA) top the line up and will be fighting it out on the water with famous sailors from the America’s Cup as well as members of the French team. In total seven nations will be represented.

The MIMR has established itself as the place where the best in the world can meet in the Mediterranean on totally identical boats, leaving only their tactical and technical performances to settle who is best.

In partnership with the Office de la Mer, the Régates en Vue project will lay on a passenger vessel each day of racing to carry the public onto the water, as close as possible to the racing area, with specialist commentary provided.
