NOR Published For IFDS Qingdao Regatta

The Notice of Race for the 2008 IFDS Qingdao International Regatta, being held at the Qingdao Olympic Sailing Centre from 8-16 May, is now available on the ISAF Disabled Sailing microsite.

 The IFDS Qingdao International Regatta will feature racing in all three Paralympic events – the one-person keelboat 2.4 Metre, two-person keelboat SKUD18 and three-person keelboat Sonar – and provide the perfect opportunity for organizers, sailors, coaches, media and spectators to test the facilities and conditions ahead of the 2008 Paralympic Sailing Competition at the same venue this September.

Racing in Qingdao will take place from 11-15 May, with nine races scheduled in each of the three events. Courses and competition format for this regatta will be similar to those of the Paralympic Sailing Competition with the exception that only one course (a trapezoid) will be used.
