2008 IFDS Two-Person Keelboat Worlds In Singapore
The IFDS Disabled Sailing World Championship 2008, Two-Person Keelboat will be held at the SAF Yacht Club - Changi, Singapore from 20-28 March.

The IFDS Disabled Sailing World Championship 2008, Two-Person Keelboat will be held at the SAF Yacht Club – Changi, Singapore from 20-28 March.
The Worlds will be organized by the Singapore Disability Sports Council in conjunction with the Singapore Sailing Federation.
Five qualification spots for the 2008 Paralympic Sailing Competition in Qingdao, China remain available and will be decided at this event. Nations expected to attend currently include Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines, Russia and Ireland, along with a number of teams from nations already qualified for the Beijing Olympic Games.

In conjunction with this event, an IFDS Classification Seminar will be conducted to train new classifiers for this developing region. Meetings of the IFDS Executive and the Equipment Evaluation Committee will also be held.
Following the IFDS Disabled Sailing Combined World Championships in Rochester, the nations qualified for the Two-Person Keelboat competition, raced in the SKUD18, are USA, Sweden, Australia, Canada, Great Britain, Portugal and China. The Paralympic Sailing Competition will be sailed in Qingdao, about 430 miles southeast of the Beijing, in September 2008.
To help teams prepare for the Paralympic Games, the Qingdao International Regatta for all of the three Paralympic classes will be held at the Paralympic Sailing Venue, the Qingdao Olympic Sailing Centre, from 8-16 May.
