Australiaâ??s Best Junior Sailors Wanted

In a new initiative announced by the Australian International Optimist Dinghy Association (AIODA) and fully endorsed by Yachting Australia, the best junior sailors in the country are invited to compete in the Optimist Australian Nationals in Hobart from 7-13 January 2007.

Boat ownership is not required for the Australian Nationals and competitive charter boats are available from $400.00. The 15 best sailors will gain a place in the Australian Optimist Sailing Team (AOST)

The AOST will be provided with the best coaching and be given the opportunity to compete in high level regional regattas in Adelaide, New Zealand and Singapore during 2007.
