NEUGODNIKOV Takes The Honours

Eugeniy NEUGODNIKOV (RUS) won the ISAF Grade 1 Toyota Sopot Match Race in Poland, defeating Peter WIBROE (DEN) in the final, to go to Ireland in top form for the ISAF Nations Cup Grand Final starting tomorrow.

NEUGODNIKOV and WIBROE won through after a double round robin, and lined up for the first to three final on shifty conditions out on the Sopot waters. Last year’s losing finalist NEUGODNIKOV was a clear winner, taking the title with a 3-1 win.

NEUGODNIKOV now heads to Crosshaven, Ireland to represent Russia at the ISAF Nations Cup Grand Final.
