Taking Precautions In Hurricane Season

The USA is currently in the midst of hurricane season, which runs from 1 June-30 November. US SAILING and its insurance partners Gowrie, Barden & Brett and Chubb Group of Insurance Companies would like to advise sailing organizations to be prepared for a hurricane.

Sailing organizations can help to mitigate their loss in the event of a major catastrophe by having prepared a disaster plan that is updated and tested regularly.
