Argentina Prepares

The first Soling continental event of 2006 will be held in Argentina at the traditional Club Nautico San Isidro in Buenos Aires from 13-15 April, with teams from Brazil, Uruguay, USA and the hosts set to take part in the Soling South American Championship.

The car company NISSAN Argentina, the wine brand Familia Zuccardi and the watch EVE (original pleasure) brand join the event as sponsors and Stella Artois beer will be the official provider during the championship.

2001 and 2004 World Champions Gustavo WARBURG, Hernan CELEDONI and Maximo SMITH (ARG) will be defending their South American title against last year’s runners up, the VIPAL-Rage team of George NEHM, Marcos RIBEIRO and Lucio RIBEIRO (BRA).

Strong challenges are also expected to come from Martin BUSCH, Marcelo TUFAROLO and Maximo FELDTMANN (ARG) and Pablo DESPONTIN, Pablo NOCETI, Ezequiel F. SASSO (ARG).

Weather forecasts indicate eight to 15 knot winds and almost no rain and no clouds, perfect conditions for the participants and spectators to enjoy the show.
