Notice of Race Available To All Interested Women Sailors
The Notice of Race for the 11th Rolex International Women's Keelboat Championship, a US SAILING championship, is now available online at www.ussailing.org/riwkc. This world-class event, one of the highest profile women's keelboat regattas in the world, will be held September 17-23, 2005 at the Annapolis Yacht Club in Annapolis, Md.

This world-class event, one of the highest profile women’s keelboat regattas in the world, will be held September 17-23, 2005 at the Annapolis Yacht Club in Annapolis, Md.
‘World class racing, great hospitality, plus unbeatable social events make the Rolex IWKC a very special and remarkable event,’ said local regatta chair Taran Teague. ‘This year we have recruited Sandy Grosvenor as the Principal Race Officer. Sandy is not only a US SAILING National Race Officer, but she has raced in the Rolex IWKC five times and co-chaired the event in 2001. I am sure she and the race committee team will produce a spectacular championship.’ To receive by mail the 10-page color brochure, which includes entry requirements as well as competitor information for accommodations, chartering a J/22 and the schedule of events, send an email to Taran Teague at jtteague@aol.com. Include full name and mailing address in the text of the email. Sailors also may subscribe to receive email news announcements about the Rolex IWKC by visiting www.usssailing.org/riwkc. The Rolex IWKC will feature 11-races in five days and will be preceded by two days for registration, measurement and a practice race. Evening social events will culminate with the traditional Rolex gala and awards presentation. A Rolex timepiece will be awarded to the winning boat’s skipper.
