Four Races Completed
51 sailors from seven nations are currently competing at the Zoom 8 Junior European Championshp on Lake Neusiedl in Austria. Four races have been completed by both the boys and the girls fleet and it is Sweden who head both leaderboards at this stage.

51 sailors from seven nations are currently competing at the Zoom 8 Junior European Championshp on Lake Neusiedl in Austria. Four races have been completed by both the boys and the girls fleet and it is Sweden who head both leaderboards at this stage.
The 2004 Zoom8 Junior European Championship began on 26 June and conclude this Saturday 2 July. The nations represented are Austria, Denmark, Estonia, Hungary, Netherlands, Poland and Sweden and the 51 sailors are split between into a girls and a boys fleet.
The 31 boat boys fleet is lead by Frederik SCHRAMM from Sweden who has secured his place at the top with a third, two firsts and an OCS which he discards to total just five points. Tied on twelve points behind him are Frederik THAARUP (DEN) and Kaarel KRUUSMILGI (EST) who lie in second and third respectively.
The Swedish sailor at the top of the girls fleet is Rebecka HARDING whose excellent scoreline of two seconds and two bullets puts her eight points ahead of her nearest rivals on just four points. As in the boys fleet, the second and third placed sailors are tied on twelve points, they are Lisa STADLER and Viktoria HOFBAUER both from Austria. 20 sailors make up this competitive fleet.
