Entries Invited

The Hong Kong Yachting Association (HKYA) is pleased to invite entries from Hong Kong dinghy sailors to compete in the 2004 Festival of Sport, Dinghy Regatta.

The event is due to be hosted by the Hong Kong Yachting Association and will take place in Clearwater Bay, Sai Kung, Hong Kong in the middle of June

This event will be a two-day event with, subject to entries, racing being provided for the following popular classes of mono-hull centerboard dinghy, viz. Laser, 420, 470, 29er, 49er, Enterprise, 505, Wanderer and Optimist.

Except for the Optimist class, all classes will race in an Open Dinghy Division with race results calculated under the Portsmouth Yardstick handicapping system, and with fleet results for any class that has six or more entries. Optimist class boats will have a separate start and race on a shorter course.
