The VI International Women's Match Racing Criterium got underway yesterday in Calpe, Spain. Twelve teams from seven nations are battling it out at this ISAF Grade 1 Event which is being sailed in J22s on the waters of Calpe Bay.

The VI International Women’s Match Racing Criterium got underway yesterday in Calpe, Spain. Twelve teams from seven nations are battling it out at this ISAF Grade 1 Event which is being sailed in J22s on the waters of Calpe Bay.

After the first day of racing it is a Danish one two with Nina BRAESTRUP and Lotte MELDGAARD leading. Braestrup and Meldgaard are ranked three and four in the world respectively.

Racing continues through to 1 May.
