Brazilian Crew Wins Third Race
The day was for Brazilians on the Soling Worlds at Veleiros do Sul. The crew from Rio de Janeiro, Renato Cunha FARIA, Ricardo ERMEL and Eduardo Cunha FARIA won the third race this Tuesday on GuaÃba Lake.

The day was for Brazilians on the Soling Worlds at Veleiros do Sul. The crew from Rio de Janeiro, Renato Cunha FARIA, Ricardo ERMEL and Eduardo Cunha FARIA won the third race this Tuesday on Guaíba Lake.
The Argentineans, Gustavo WARBURG, Hernan CELEDONI and Maxino SMITH finished seconfd in the third race and still lead the championship after three races. Closely following them are the Brazilian crew Ernesto NEUGEBAUER, Luiz Henrique PASSOW and Lucas OSTERGEN from Veleiros do Sul. “We had a very nice start and we were sailing well in all the legs. Only at the last windward mark did the wind shift and we ended up in 4th” said the helmsman Neugebauer, Snipe world champion in 1978.
After three races the top seven is extremely close. Racing continues tomorrow with racing starting at 1400 local time. Full results are available on the event website at the address below.
