Starting today from the beautiful Royal Perth Yacht Club, eight of the southern hemisphere’s finest match racing skippers and crews will fight it out for the title of Australian National Champion.

As well as the National Champions title being up for grabs, the event gives a unique opportunity for some up-and-coming skippers to prove their mettle against the big guys down under.

This year’s event promises to be an ultimate battle on the Swan with aggressive prestart manoeuvrers and a clash of wits and skill as fresh upcoming talent test their abilities against Skippers with years of experience.

Racing will commence at 1 pm on Monday 24 November (weather dependant) with the first of two round robins. The second robin should be completed by Wednesday morning on 26 November with the final taking place in the afternoon.
